We would love to
invite you to join us for our
10th
Anniversary! Again this year we are offering two seminar
dates. You have your choice of September 17-19 or November
12-14. Both seminars
will be team taught by Lynne Deptula and Judy Diephouse.
Seminar Features
You will receive a
complete painting pattern including photographs for the seminar
project. Paints for the seminar will be provided. We will have
some specialty brushes available for sale, but would like you to
bring your favorite painting brushes and supplies to class.
The surface for the
class is purchased from us, but please feel free to bring in
additional surfaces of your choice if you are an energetic
painter!
For the seminars,
we will be using the video monitor system. Our ladies LOVE it…up
close viewing for EVERYONE. Every seat is great and this system
makes for a very enjoyable, relaxed, and educational experience.
And of course, the
food… each seminar day will include a mid-morning snack break,
delightful lunch, mid-afternoon pick-me-up with our fabulous
‘Snack Fairy Terri’, plus a selection of beverage choices
throughout the day. You will be responsible for your own dinner,
but we do arrange a group reservation for our ladies if you wish
to join us. We have two
terrific husbands and several generous friends who have offered
their transportation services to our painting friends!
Thursday 6:00 p.m. - Prep Night
The weekend will
begin with a ‘Prep-Night’ on Thursday, when you will basecoat
your project, transfer your pattern and join all your painting
friends for a Wine and Appetizer Party!
Friday, Saturday, Sunday – A Painter’s Treasure
Chest
9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
A full three day project; this chest with nesting table offers
multiple painting surfaces. This delightful piece measures 29”
tall, 15.5” wide and 10.5” deep. The chest top and sides are
decorated with West Coast Rosemaling…a lovely, light style of
strokework painted in the most beautiful color palette. All
around the chest we’ve designed a still life collection
featuring many elements that decorative painters treasure…a deed
box, florals in a variety of containters, a glass lantern,
and a Folk Art Bird…you
know we have to include a bird!...all to commemorate our love of
decorative painting. Then,
we’ve added two surprise design elements! First, when you lift
off the curved chest, the top of the nesting table section is
decorated with a charming rendition of the Folk Art Bird nestled
in a West Coast Rosemaling design. Second, when you open the
chest, the 4 section tray features softly painted florals that
mirror the original design. When finished, you will have an
heirloom to store your treasures and a treasure to pass on as an
heirloom!
While the two separate pieces retail individually for $125.00,
we’ve secured a special Seminar Only cost of $110.00 for the
Painter’s Treasure Chest set.

We will be teaching
our seminar the Holiday Inn Express [formerly AmeriSuites]
in
Seminar Fee
The seminar fee is
$240.00 for the full 3 day seminar. Please sign up early as our
seminars will be limited to 45 students
in each seminar.
Seminar Reservations
You may reserve
your space in the seminar by mailing or faxing the following
reservation form to the address or number below. Please include
the seminar fee which is non-refundable. In June, we will mail
out the Seminar Packet which includes
the Surface Order Form, Hotel infomation, and
Seminar Preparation Instructions.
